“Bigfoot is supposedly a large, hairy, humanlike being living in the wild in the northwestern United States and western Canada. Although some people reportedly have seen this legendary creature, none of the claims have been verified. Bigfoot is also called Sasquatch, which means “wild men” in a Native American language of the Salishan family. Bigfoot is comparable to the Himalayan region’s mythical monster, the Abominable Snowman (Yeti).”

Some people are convinced that the stories about Bigfoot are true. Yet so far no one has found proof.
